Terms of Service
Welcome to Edugate – a smart education management platform. By registering and using our services, you ("Customer") agree to comply with the following terms and resource quotas:
1. Resource and Quota Regulations
Edugate provides service plans with specific system resource quotas. Exceeding these quotas may result in feature suspension or additional charges.
1.1. Cloud Storage
- Storage is calculated based on total file size (images, videos, lesson materials) uploaded to the system.
- Quotas: Free (2GB), Starter (10GB), Professional (50GB), Enterprise (200GB).
- Upon reaching the limit, Customers cannot upload new files unless old files are deleted or the plan is upgraded.
1.2. System Email
- Email is used exclusively for operational notifications (passwords, tuition, schedules, learning outcomes).
- Limits by plan:
- Professional: Up to 700 emails/day and 20,000 emails/month.
- Enterprise: Up to 2,000 emails/day and 50,000 emails/month.
- Prohibited: Using Edugate's email system to send spam, mass advertising, or illegal content. Edugate reserves the right to suspend email functionality if bounce/complaint rates exceed limits set by the infrastructure provider (Amazon SES).
2. Third-Party Integrations
Edugate supports connections with popular platforms (VietQR, SePay, Zalo OA, Lark, Zoom, Pancake, Microsoft OneDrive, Resend...).
- Technical responsibility: Edugate is responsible for implementing technical connections (API/Webhook) to synchronize data between platforms.
- External service costs: Edugate does not include licensing or maintenance fees for third-party services. Customers must register and pay directly to providers (e.g., Zoom Pro fees, Zalo OA business maintenance fees, bank transaction fees...).
- Availability: Edugate is not responsible for cases where third-party services experience outages or API policy changes that disrupt connections.
3. White Label Policy
White Label features are available exclusively for the Enterprise plan:
- Customers may use their own domain name, logo, and brand identity on the system interface.
- Customers are responsible for managing and renewing their own domain names.
4. Security and Data
- Ownership: Customers own all data about their students, finances, and lessons on the system.
- Backup: Edugate performs regular backups; however, Customers are encouraged to proactively export data for internal storage purposes.
5. Service Changes and Suspension
- Edugate reserves the right to update pricing and resource quotas but must provide at least 30 days' notice.
- In cases of serious violations of email regulations (spam) or storage of malicious content, Edugate may terminate the service without refund.
Note: These terms aim to ensure system stability for all users.
Edugate encourages Customers to use resources within their quotas for optimal operational efficiency.
